The horse that beat him in Roscommon the last day (Johnny Drama) must be some horse. He took him out of his comfort zone!. I spoke to Jamie Spencer after the Guineas and he said if you are not in the first three or four here you’re wasting your time. It wasn’t going to suit the other horse Master Speaker but it was going to suit Aussie and I told Tom to be very positive with him all the way. He won over 80 grand for us last year, and he’s tipping away getting cheques nearly every time this year. He’s like an ATM machine and he wasn’t an expensive horse. We’re delighted to have him. He’ll go to Galway and will run in the Galway Mile and maybe the seven (furlongs) as well. He might run here Derby weekend as well.

He's been a superstar this season. We bought him for 12 grand last October and Gary (Devlin) and Joe (McCrory) both got involved in the horse.

It's been a long-time coming. I've had a rough five or six weeks,. The horse deserved it. On ratings he looked to be the pick and he's been very consistent all year. We just decided to take the 10lb off him tonight to give him a chance. We had it drilled into Tom what to do and he rode a perfect race. I'm delighted for him and for Gary Devlin and Joe McCrory that own him. He was a cheap horse, we bought him at Newmarket in the horses in training. He'll probably venture over hurdles at some stage during the summer and we could also look for something similar again. We didn't think he'd go on the ground but nothing ventured nothing gained. He went well and stayed at it well. We said we didn't make enough use of him the last day in the Curragh.

That's some consolation for the Curragh. He ran some race in the Lincoln out where he was,. It was probably my fault as I told Silvestre to do his own thing but with a bit of company it might have been different. Although we were beaten a length in the end. He's a real decent horse. He just got caught out a couple of times at the back end of last year. Maybe his wind was catching him or he just didn't stay. In that ground he's a horse with a good bit of pace. He's a big rangy loose moving horse and he should stay as well. There is more to come from him and he should step up again. We'll probably step him up to a Listed race. As he's strengthened and developed he may even have gotten sharper. He's a horse with a great attitude, a lovely big horse.

He's a grand sort of horse and he'll probably be better when he steps up in trip. He handled the ground well but he's still a bit of a baby both mentally and physically. He should be better towards the back end of the year and also as a four-year-old. He's going the right way anyway,.
