An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one and a half furlongs out involving Atheby (GB), placed third, ridden by Kieran Shoemark, and Holiday (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Thore Hammer Hansen.
The incident was found to be accidental as Atheby (GB) had shifted marginally right-handed whilst Shoemark was in the process of straightening the colt, causing Holiday (GB) to clip a heel in behind.
Following the race, Jack Duern reported that Torious (GB), unplaced, ran green.
