Permission was given for Water Of Leith (IRE) and Elladora (GB) to go to post early.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference shortly after the start and again in the final half furlong, involving the winner Aberama Gold (GB), ridden by Alistair Rawlinson, and Iris Dancer (GB), placed second, ridden by Andrew Mullen.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of Aberama Gold (GB), as the first incident of interference happened 5½ furlongs from the finish, and the second incident approaching the line was minimal with Iris Dancer (GB) losing less ground than the official distance of a head at the line.
The interference was found to be accidental as in the first incident Rawlinson was running freely and had to shift off the heels of Elladora (GB), and in the second incident, Aberama Gold (GB) went quickly left for 1 hit, slightly intimidating Iris Dancer (GB).
The Stewards therefore ordered the placings to remain unaltered.
