The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Andrew Slattery, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Ranko Express, placed first, as compared with its recent form. William Slattery, Authorised Representative for the trainer reported that his charge appeared to appreciate the underfoot conditions in what he felt was a low grade race and felt this had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.
