The Stewards received a report from Mr. P.L. Malone , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that R.A. Doyle , rider of I'm Not Alone , weighed in at 1.2 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he took a drink after weighing out which may have accounted for the overweight on weighing-in. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that R.A. Doyle was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his record in this regard imposed a suspension of two race days on the rider
