Permission was given for Legende D'art (IRE) to wear a red hood which was removed at the start.
An enquiry was held to consider interference turning into the home straight involving Prospect (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Neil Callan, and Ventura Vision (FR), unplaced, ridden by Jason Hart.
Callan was suspended for 2 days for careless riding in that, when going for a run, he angled his mount right-handed when insufficiently clear of Ventura Vision (FR) causing Hart to have to take a check.
Following the race, Neil Callan reported that Prospect (GB), placed fifth, ran too free.
