The winner, IT’S MAISY (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Warwick on 5 October where the mare finished ninth of ten runners beaten 58 lengths.
The Stewards noted the explanation given by the representative of Sue Smith that the mare may have appreciated a step up in trip from 2 miles to 2 miles 7 furlongs and the Soft going on this occasion.
IT’S MAISY (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, the representative of Dan Skelton reported that Diamond Twin (FR), which was pulled up, made a respiratory noise.
Caoilin Quinn reported that Beaufort West (IRE), placed fourth, hung left-handed throughout.
