Permission was given for Amourice (IRE) to go early to post and for Thaqaffa (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and also go early to post.

Jane Chapple-Hyam was informed that the mare could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
The winner Brasca (GB) appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Nottingham on 16 August 2019 where the gelding finished fifth of the eight runners, beaten by 18 lengths.
The representative for Ralph Beckett’s explanation that the gelding appreciated the return to Chelmsford, on this occasion, having won here previously, was noted.
