The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Masai, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra for each race won Any horse rated above 95 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 9st 10lb.
