The Stewards enquired into possible interference after jumping the second last hurdle involving Cairnhill, ridden by S.F. O'Keeffe, placed third and Crimson Chief, ridden by M.A. Enright, placed second, where it appeared both horses collided. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental in nature, they therefore made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action
