We bought her after she won her point to point, and I think she's a great stayer who wants better ground. She'll go out on grass now as she has shown us plenty and will come back hurdling next season. She should stay three miles. Her owner Tommy Ward is from Mountmellick.

Mr P.W. Mullins, rider of Monbeg Rose, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly right. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Monbeg Rose, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
