The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the back straight involving Bigz Belief, ridden by J. Smith, Desert Friend, ridden by D. King, and Wajaaha, ridden by L.A. McKenna where it appeared, Wajaaha had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. L.A. McKenna stated that he felt there was a gap down the rail before having to take a check back. J. Smith stated that he received a little pressure from his outside and moved in slightly. D. King stated that he maintained his racing line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.
