I wouldn’t have given anyone too much encouragement before the race as I thought he’d plenty of weight against good horses. Pat liked him and he’ll probably go for the three-year-olds’ mile handicap at Galway, although I don’t think we’ll get the jockey the next day!

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Misty Millie, trained by P.Cluskey, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be Blowing Hard post race. C.D. Hayes, rider of Misty Millie, trained by P.Cluskey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled and was eased late on.
