The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lucky Max (GER), trained by Sean Thomas Doyle, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards interviewed G.B. Noonan, rider of Falco Blitz, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. G.B. Noonan accepted he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found G.B. Noonan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and in considering his record in this regard they suspended him for eight racedays
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Falco Blitz trained by E. McNamara was seen to have blood at nostrils post race.
An extended handicap steeplechase for four years old and upwards (140 = 11st 12lbs)
