Permission was given for Lucy Lightfoot (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and for New Hope Bullet (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
New Hope Bullet (IRE) kicked the plastic running rail in the chute.
After being checked by the Veterinary surgeon down at the start, the filly was deemed fit to race.
The performance of One More Olly (GB), which started favourite and finished unplaced, was considered.
It was noted that the representative of Richard Hughes could offer no explanation for the filly’s performance, other than she was slowly away and ran too free.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of One More Olly (GB) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
