She has been great and has kept improving. She has gone up a lot in the handicap and this was a nice race for her and I'm delighted. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Dounikos (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race. Owing to the low lying sun, the Stewards granted permission for the third last hurdle to be omitted for this race.

A novice hurdle race for four yrs old and upwards which, at entry, are rated 123 or less
Weights - 4-y-o 10st 13lb; 5-y-o and up 11st 3lb
Penalties - Performances before 13th December for every 1lb above the rating of 116 1lb extra; On or after 13th December for each hurdle race won 4lb extra; Horses that have not run three times over hurdles and/or do not have a published handicap hurdle rating may enter and run at the discretion of the handicapper provided their performances are rated 123 or less.
