I didn't see that happening in the last furlong. She's some little titch. She's green as grass and never travelled like we thought she would. We thought coming back to the mile would be no problem to her. This dam is so lucky for Glenburnie, with Brendan (Brackan) winning yesterday and now this filly. She can only improve for a winter on her back because we've been training her with next year in mind. The sky is the limit and we have a lovely filly on our hands. She's a huge addition to the yard and I'm looking forward to her next year. I'm after getting a buzz out of that because I didn't see it happening a furlong down. It's a good day at the office. I got some pleasure out of Brendan Brackan winning yesterday but that's nearly after equalling it. It's great for Mrs Patino who flew over to see her on Thursday. The Stewards enquired into an incident about 200 yards from the finish involving Sister Blandina, ridden by S. Foley, unplaced and Elegant Pose, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed first, where it appeared that Sister Blandina may have received interference when Elegant Pose manoeuvred out to deliver a challenge. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.
