Ed Walker’s comments that the gelding benefited from step up in trip from 6 furlongs to 7 furlongs and the removal of the hood were noted and MONOPILISE was routine tested.
The performance of On The Pulse (IRE) which finished fifth of five, was considered.
The representative of David Evans’s explanation that the filly was unsuited by going on this occasion, which was officially described as Soft, was noted.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of On The Pulse (IRE) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Rossa Ryan reported that Quantum Light (IRE), placed fourth, hung right-handed.
