Gary Moore’s explanation that the gelding was unsuited by the going on this occasion, officially described as GOOD TO SOFT, GOOD in places, and would benefit from a slower surface, was noted.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Goshen (FR), during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Jamie Moore reported that Goshen (FR), placed third, was never travelling.
