The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Equitant (GB), ridden by M.P
Sheehy, placed second and Sky Seven, ridden by R. Coakley, placed third, where it appeared that Equitant drifted left across the racing line of Sky Seven. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found M. P. Sheehy in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and they cautioned him accordingly. M. P. Sheehy was accompanied by Mr. Brendan Powell, authorised representative for Mr. J. P. O'Brien.
For three years old and upwards which at entry are rated 85 or less (also open to horses which at entry are rated 86-95)
Weights - 3-y-o 8st 12lbs ;4-y-o and up 9st 4lbs ;Horses that have not run three times and/or ;do not have a published handicap rating are ;eligible to enter and run at the discretion of ;the handicapper
