Approaching the final half a furlong, Dark Lady (GB), placed third, hung quickly right away from the whip causing interference to the winner, West End Girl (GB), but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
The performance of Ultra Violet (GB), which started favourite and finished unplaced, was considered.
Kieran Shoemark reported that the filly ran too free and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Ultra Violet (GB) during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Brett Doyle reported that Ananya (GB), placed fifth, was slowly away.
