It was a great ride. He got a freebie out the gate, robbed a nice lead and got his fractions right,. He's a strong horse that gallops through that ground. He probably doesn't find a whole lot off the bridle. We'll look for something similar and he's well schooled over fences as he was going to go for a point-to-point.

The Stewards reviewed the video and voice recording of the start of this race in conjunction with Mr P.L. Malone IHRB Starter. The Starter explained the different stages of the starting procedure. Having considered all matters the Stewards were satisfied that a fair start had been effected.
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards (109 = 12st)
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 12st and the minimum weight shall not be less than 10st 4lbs
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each hurdle race won.
Riders - Confined to Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52 (iii).
