The winner Lordsbridge Boy (GB) appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Newbury on the 13 June 2019 where the gelding finished eighth of the eleven runners, beaten by 23 ½ lengths.
Dean Ivory’s explanation that the gelding appreciated the drop back down in trip from 7 furlongs to 6 furlongs and was suited by the Good to Firm, Good in Places ground on this occasion, having ran on soft ground in its previous race, was noted.
Lordsbridge Boy (GB) was routine tested.
