Permission was given for Airshow (GB) to go early to post.
Approximately 2 ½ furlongs out, a weakening REVIST, unplaced, became short for room between Some Nightmare (IRE), placed second, and Airshow (GB), placed fourth, which was hanging right-handed at the time, resulting in the rider of REVIST to take a slight check, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of any runner.
Following the race, Taylor Fisher reported that Some Nightmare (IRE), placed second, stumbled leaving the stalls and Oliver Searle reported that Airshow (GB), placed fourth, was restless in the stalls and hung right-handed under pressure.
