Permission was given for Pretty Sweet (IRE) and Precision Storm (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line when Baldomero (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Jason Watson, interfered with Civil Law (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Harry Davies, who in turn interfered with Pistoletto (USA), unplaced, ridden by Darragh Keenan.
Being a 7lb claimer, Davies was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider.
Watson was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he manoeuvred left when insufficiently clear carrying Civil Law (IRE) onto Pistoletto (USA) causing Keenan to have to take a check.
The Stewards noted that in the straight, Precision Storm (GB), unplaced, was denied a clear run.
Following the race, Rossa Ryan reported that Fountain Cross (GB), unplaced, hung left-handed throughout.
