He likes it around here, the undulating track suits him, and I’m delighted for Pat (O’Leary, owner) as he puts a lot of money into it. If the weather stays dry we’ll probably get away with running him until the end of October. This is his time of the year. He loves Tramore as well and is entered there in another chase next week. I haven't spoken to Ger (Gubbins, owner) yet but after this, I think we will just run her in better company, with smaller fields from now on. Off her work at home you'd be saying she should be rated 120 something, but then she'd come racing and wouldn't want to know. When she won in Wexford we thought we have a good one and then she finished fourth in a Listed race at Galway, but it was only backwards and backwards she went.

he has been a good, fun horse and has won five races for us now. He is owned by the Kings Horses Syndicate - I was in school in Kings Hospital in Dublin and a bunch of friends from there own him. I gave him to them a few years ago and he has been great and has near enough paid his way. hopefully we'll get another day out of him but ultimately is for sale and is one that will be going to England this year. There is a ladies' race in Cartmel in a few weeks time and we might go over there with him - a few of the lads from the syndicate are living in England now. He would be a super horse for England on good ground — he'd nearly be a 'Saturday horse' in handicap chases over there.

He is kind of ground dependent. He ran in Kilbeggan the last day and maybe the three miles there was a bit far for him. The ground had chopped on him there because it was one of the later races. He travelled away nicely but just couldn't finish it out. I think the nicer ground today helped him and Kevin gave him a super ride. He dropped him out and he switched off today; he can be tricky to ride. He was getting a bit keen at a few stages but Kevin dropped him back again and, with the small field, it just all worked out today. He won at Kilbeggan over fences last summer and he has also won at Punchestown and Downpatrick.

He was very unlucky to get beat in Navan where it looked like he had it well won and made a mistake at the last. His jumping won the race in Killarney under a brilliant ride from Rachael Blackmore, and Darragh (O’Keeffe) was equally good on him this evening. He’s only a four-year-old but he’s growing up and learning his trade. He hasn’t won by far and hopefully won’t get a massive penalty and we’ll find another handicap for him. I thought the ground had gone (too soft) for him but when I came here I couldn’t believe my luck. Jim Guilfoyle (owner) has been with me for years and we’ve had loads of winners together and he’s a fantastic supporter.
