< Ainippe got up in the shadow of the post to squeeze out Newsletter in a thrilling finish to the feature TRM Ballyogan Stakes at the Curragh.

The Ger Lyons-trained filly, sent off the 9-4 joint-favourite in a race lacking the withdrawn Iveagh Gardens, was settled in rear by Colin Keane and had trouble finding a gap as she looked to make her challenge in the Group Three contest.

Newsletter got first run and made the best of her way home, but Ainippe went after her and Keane always looked confident in his filly's ability to catch up, which she did near the line for victory by half a length from her market rival.

Lyons and Keane completed a double along with owners Qatar Racing when Game Set Dash (9-2) wore down big outsider Here For The Craic close home to take the TRM Invest In Calphormin Maiden by half a length.

The Dermot Weld-trained Postulation stepped up on previous efforts as he swooped late in the hands of Pat Smullen to land a Listed success in the TRI Equestrian Silver Stakes.

Kevin Manning looked to have made a race-winning move from the rear when he surged into the lead on odds-on favourite Parish Hall but Postulation (7-1) was following him and wore him down in the closing stages to score by a neck.

Smullen doubled up when he had just enough in the tank to get Johnny Murtagh's 9-2 shot Duca Valentinois home by a short head as Pullman Brown put in a sustained challenge through the final half-furlong in the www.trm-ireland.com Handicap.

Jessie Harrington's 6-4 favourite Rockaway Valley who ran the useful Air Force Blue to a neck on his debut, demolished the opposition in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden, leading all the way to win by four and a quarter lengths under Shane Foley.

Eddie Lynam's filly Fort Del Oro (7-4 favourite) stepped forward from her debut second last month to take the TRM Excellence In Equine Nutrition Maiden, taking over going to the furlong pole under Billy Lee and skipping clear to score by four and a quarter lengths.
