No Hassle stayed on strongly in the closing stages to gain a deserved success in the first division of the mile-and-a-half handicap at Tipperary.

The Shane Ryder-trained filly had been narrowly denied on her last couple of outings and got her head in front today at the eighth attempt.

Joey Sheridan got a good tune from the well-backed 3/1 favourite inside the final furlong as she claimed Hello Power in the final 100 yards and went on to record a length-and-a-half win over Blackpoint

Ryder was saddling his first winner since August 2020 and he said:-

"That was a long time in the making and she had been plagued by injuries. She always showed ability but I thought after the handicapper hit her twice recently that her chance had gone.

"Thankfully she has improved nicely and with luck might continue to do so. She might have one run before going to Galway in September.

"It is extra special to win for the owners who are local to me and have been patient and loyal, so I'm grateful.

“I only have a handful of horses and it is hard to get staff where I'm based so I do a lot of the work myself."
