The Adrian Joyce trained Rock On Rosie followed up her recent maiden victory at Kilbeggan with another 20 days later at Down Royal today, landing the SHS Group Handicap Hurdle, again ridden by Shane Shortall.
Prior to winning at Kilbeggan, the daughter of Gamut's form figures read '06090-9' and following today's win, Athlone based former jockey Joyce stated "she came out of the race well the last day and I didn't worry about dropping back in trip as she has plenty of boot and settled well.
"She might go to Roscommon on Monday."
Galway Plate winning jockey Shortall also commented "she travelled well the whole way and while I was a bit worried about getting there too soon, she did it well in the end.
"She's a bit hard on herself early on in races but was very game and won comfortably."
