Rappell (4/1f) swept through to win the Castle Arch Hotel Handicap over an extended five furlongs in Navan.
Once Paul Flynn's charge grabbed the lead from Limoncello Lady a furlong down, he looked to have all angles covered and was kept up to his work to score by a length and a-half. Grand Citadel (8/1) took second and was the same margin in front of Limonchello Lady (22/1). Platino Bianco (40/1) rounded out the placings in fourth in this 18-runner handicap.
Billy Lee said: "He's a fine, big horse and he's learning away on the job.
"He jumped good there and travelled, and it was a lovely race to ride in. Nice to get something to aim at. He picked up well to get to it, but when he got to the front he is just doing enough.
"He's a nice, progressive horse and he is very comfortable over that six (furlongs) and I'd say the five (furlongs) the last day probably things happened too quick.
"In time he will learn how to go back to five. It is just all about progression now."
