Favourite Two Shoe Tom takes the opener
Two Shoe Tom and Kevin Sexton survive a mistake at the last to win

The 7/4 favourite Two Shoe Tom landed the Sweeney Oil (Mares) Maiden Hurdle for Peter Fahey and Kevin Sexton.
Always handy, the daughter of Westerner took over after the second last and was travelling well when a bit clumsy at the last.
She kept on in the straight to score by a diminishing neck from the staying-on What Wonders Weave
Runner-up in three bumpers, the winner got a bit of experience over hurdles in the winter and had no issues with the rain-softened yielding ground here.
“I thought she was the best horse in the race and that she’d win,” said winning rider Sexton.
“She deserved it on her bumper form. She was placed in a Listed bumper at Navan.”
