Drunken Sailor lands Friday feature at Galway
Paul Flynn saddled his first winner at Galway when 9/2 joint favourite Drunken Sailor won the feature race, the Arthur's Day Premier Handicap on Friday in the hands of the very capable Padraig Beggy.
“This is my first winner at Galway and it was the only race for the horse this week. I’m delighted for Jim Keogh the owner. He was one of my first owners and has been very good to me. He owns a pub in Longford and I’d imagine he could be very busy tonight!” said a delighted Flynn.
“The handicapper gave us a great chance by not putting him up for finishing second at the Curragh and he loves this ground.”
