The David Marnane trained Amemri registered the fourth win of her career when easily landing the Rose Hotel Handicap at Listowel.
Smartly away from his rails draw, Luke McAteer took up the box seat early, tracking the pace setting Simple Endeavour and Seas And Oceans
Always travelling easily, the eye was drawn to Amemri turning into the home straight, as Seas And Oceans headed Simple Endeavour to lead briefly over a furlong out.
McAteer soon covered that move, arriving up alongside at the furlong marker, before stretching ahead on the run-in to score by three-quarters-of-a-length from the staying on Nika Pika
Winning jockey McAteer reported: "It just goes to show as she was my only ride today and I had five rides here yesterday but they disappointed and a few things didn't go right.
"We thought this filly would have won already this year as she won three last year and today David told me to follow Shane Foley (on Simple Endeavour) to the furlong pole, so he was spot on!
"David is at the sales reinvesting to go again and Mel owns her so it is great. David had a nice horse who won here last year and went on to sell well and everything seems to be going well."
