I just think the ground was a little bit on the quick side for him earlier in the summer and they done a good job watering it here today,. It probably suited our horse, I just don't think he wants quick ground at his age anymore. He has won on heavy ground previously. He has been a great servant for the owners and has won four times over hurdles now. He will probably go for a handicap again. He is entered in Galway and if he doesn't go there he might go to the Tramore Festival.

In fairness to the horse he wins one for us every year and we'll see what the handicapper gives him and possibly go for another handicap hurdle,. He is as genuine and is always in the money. Barry gave him a lovely ride today and we might go for another hurdle before going chasing then.

He ran well in Clonmel the last day. Phillip said the ground is the key to him. With the forecast he'll probably be left off after this week. Off his mark I'd like to think there is another hurdle in him. He's really a summer horse.
