Shes Flat Tothemat stayed on best to win a battle with Lady Of The Sea in the Garry Flood Landscaping Handicap Hurdle at Wexford.
The six-year-old mare found extra in the closing stages to see off Lady Of The Sea by a length and a half after the pair were locked together on the run-in.
The winner was easy to back at 11/1 while the runner-up went off at 7/1. Tintown Robin was noted keeping on for third at 8/1, beaten two and a half lengths by the winner.
Mick Winters said: "The young lad (Simon Torrens) rode her at Ballinrobe and she stayed on mad for him so we were delighted to be able to give him the chance back.
"The ground was perfect for her as she is a bit one paced and if it was too good she might get outpaced a bit. She is a small mare and hit everything right on the day.
"We didn't actually jump a hurdle since she chased so I said to him 'don't fall off at the first because you might get a big jump!' She is a spooky kind of mare but is only six and is grand.
"The syndicate (Going Stone Mad Syndicate) are a great crowd who are mad for racing.
"I'll buy ye all drinks if I win the last (with Doldido !"
