Review punchestown 27th Oct
Noble Prince made a pleasing start to his career over fences with a smooth victory in the Dobbins Panoramic Restaurant Beginners Chase at PunchestownWed 27th Oct
Prince makes it two for the Nolans
A 150,000 Euro purchase two years ago out of Andre Fabre's yard after winning a couple on the level, Noble Prince made the perfect start to his chasing career having won three hurdles since joining Paul Nolan, with a silky smooth victory in the Dobbins Panoramic Restaurant Beginners Chase at Punchestown. Paul Carberry did the steering and he was bringing up a double for the Wexford yard following Seafield's win in the first under Alain Cawley. Wed 27th OctSeafield delivers on 1st go over flights
Runner-up to subsequent bumper winner Sizing Mexico in a 'point' and a half-brother to top chaser Joncol, Seafield was always going to find his true vocation once tackling obstacles and he left his bumper form behind to take the opening Punchestown Event Centre Maiden Hurdle under Alain 'Squeaky' Cawley. Wed 27th OctYoung Man looks promising in bumper
A Fine Young Man made most of the running to make a winning debut in the concluding bumper for Willie Mullins. Sun 07th Mar
After race at Punchestown Wed, 27th Oct, 2010 (1st)
I didn't think he had enough done to win today as he hadn't been away for a gallop. He was unlucky not to win his bumper in Naas where they went no gallop and he was caught for toe. I don't know what happened him at the Festival here (finished ninth). Alain was brilliant on him there and never panicked. He gave two blows out there so you'd expect a lot of improvement. He'll probably run again in three weeks in a winners race and the Barry & Sandra Kelly Memorial at Navan would be on our minds for him. He's a fair one.
