Vuvuzela blows away opposition
King Vuvuzela looked a nice prospect when running out an impressive winner of the concluding bumper at Punchestown. Tue 03rd May
Bryan gave him a lovely ride. They went a right pace early on but then they stopped in front and this race tends to go like that as we won it two years back with Arklow Ger. He didn't jump well early on, but he jumped much better towards the end, and Bryan gave him a great ride.
Paul Nolan
He's been a very disappointing horse overall although he's now won three times here. He looked a good horse when he won his bumper here and he then dead-heated with Allure Of Illusion (when that one went off at 1/5). We train him from the field and he came here fresh off a mark of 102. It probably suits him best being fresh,.
Paul Nolan
We really liked this horse. The one thing about him is that he jumps brilliant,. We were going to let him out with the ground turning fast. He has done plenty of work at home on soft and has never let us down at home. There is nothing flashy about him but he is a very solid worker. He could make up into a lovely hurdler next season.
Paul Nolan
