That was super. The race suited her, a quick enough two miles, and she jumped great, a little bit keen. She'll go to Fairyhouse next, I don't know if two-and-a-half miles there will really suit her but it's mares novice Grade 1 so she'll go there. I can't wait for her to go chasing next year, her pedigree is all staying chasers. I think when she goes over fences she might be able to go out in trip. If she jumps as well she could be hard to catch in those mares chases next year. She wants to win and she just loves jumping. In her bumpers we were trying to hold her up but when she's so good to jump you're better off just letting her roll away and I think that's improved her.

She jumped brilliantly and her pedigree is all three-mile chasers. The way she jumped she can stay at two miles, and she’s keen, so likes to get on with things. We might come back here for a mares’ novice hurdle at the end of the month but that might be too soon. Hopefully we’ll be going for black-type after today. She was definitely better than she was at settling - when I rode her in Punchestown, it was like her tail was on fire, but maybe that was the end of a long season. I think the hurdles will help, and I think she could jump a fence in time if the owners want to.

It was a very impressive performance because she had a break since her last run and I didn't think she had enough done. She looked like she had blown up coming out of the back stretch and she looked in trouble about three furlongs out. Patrick said when he pulled her to the outside she got her second wind and she just took off. She looks to be a serious mare. She's entitled to go anywhere she wants now. Do you go to Cheltenham or to the mares bumper in Aintree?

That's the first official winner I've bred, I bought her five years ago in foal to the dam, so it's a long wait. My mother does most of the work so she deserves the credit for breeding and she named her. We flipped a coin!. She was very good. That's what she was doing at home and I was hoping she'd do that. To breed them and own them is an extra thrill. It's a fantastic pedigree. The dam is a full-sister to Yorkhill and that's why I bought her, and the family goes back to The Listener and Dooneys Gate who was my first winner over fences, so it ties in like that. We might go for a Listed race, either in the spring if we give her a break, or at Navan in five weeks. We'll see how she comes out of this first.
