Very few horses win a maiden hurdle and then a handicap chase on their next start! . There was plenty pace on today, which suited and he is a super jumper and will go for something similar next. He along with Billy De Kid (a winner at Clonmel last week) got a bad dose of a virus three years ago, so we've been waiting a long time for him.

It finally came and conditions of the race suited as he is a horse with plenty of experience and it worked out,. He battled, which he is not known to do but back to two miles on heavy ground suited. He won't come back here later in the week and we'll go back over fences now.
