Fairyhouse Sat, 25th Jan, 2025  One Horse Army It’s grand that he’s won again. He stays and he jumps. We’ll keep going with him now and find something similar if we can. He’s still a novice. We’ll see what the handicapper gives him now. He wants soft ground and a staying trip.

Navan Sat, 18th Jan, 2025  One Horse Army He's been hard to train, but today we thought we had him right. I'd say it was a weak race and he seems to have done it well. Hopefully, he pulls up alright. It is all about keeping him sound - he's an eight-year-old and he is after having just 11 runs. When we ran him, he kind of fell away. Today, he looked right and it looked a weak race. It is great to get a win out of him.

Limerick Thu, 26th Dec, 2024  Shesakindofmagic we bought her out of Mags Mullins’ yard in January as she is a half-sister to (stablemate) Kiki Badger and had a good run on debut at Clonmel. I rang Derek O’Connor, who rode her, and he said she’d win during Christmas - but at this meeting last year. She missed the meeting though, as she pulled a muscle so I ended up buying her at the sales in January (for £8,000). I couldn’t believe how cheap she was so this is brilliant and she picks up bonuses for her owners today too.

Wexford Mon, 28th Oct, 2024  Ira Hayes We were very, very disappointed after the first day. We went to Listowel thinking he'd win and we are still not sure what went wrong. It was very, very wet that day, it was over two and a half and he was quite keen for his first day at school. He didn't run that bad and if our expectations weren't so high we wouldn't have been disappointed. You kind of lose confidence then.

Galway Sat, 26th Oct, 2024  Meehall Calum gave him a beautiful ride and claiming the 7lb off 12 stone was a big help. They went a good gallop; they were on a nice part of the track and he jumped really well. He likes the track, the trip and gets through that softer ground. He is very versatile, that's his second win of the summer and we'll look for something similar over either fences or hurdles in the next few weeks.

Tipperary Sun, 6th Oct, 2024  Hillhead Runner I suppose she got an easy enough lead in front and she stayed at it. . When I went down through the form of the race, I thought there wasn’t much pace in it and I was saying to David to jump off and make plenty of use of her.
