He’s a nice horse and came recommended from Aubrey McMahon and Aidan Fitzgerald. . All the lads (Keep It Simple Syndicate) are from Clane and are a great bunch of lads and they will have great crack in Clane tonight!

Thurles Thu, 21st Nov, 2024  Drumgill He went disappointing over hurdles but probably got sick of it. Philip Donovan rode him the last day and wasn't too hard on him and we freshened him up since. He is a brilliant jumper, loved that good ground and we thought he'd run ok. I wouldn't read a huge amount into the race though as Caesar Rock was the horse I was afraid of, so we'll take what we get. He is related to Constitution Hill, is a smashing horse and is a brilliant jumper. He loves that good ground.

Curragh Tue, 22nd Oct, 2024  Barrogstown Girl She battled very well in fairness to her. I was a little bit worried about her bouncing two days after her last run, and about the draw,. Neve said she was game out, galloped and kept going the whole way to the line. She's a very honest little filly. She's probably one that will go hurdling, whether we go now or give her a bit of a break I don't know. We'll have a chat with the owners. She was in an online sale recently and there was no interest in her but (my brother) Mick (Fahey) got her sold to a few friends of his and it's paying dividends for them already. I didn't have a double up until this year and that's my second of the year now. We're just having a great year, the horses have been healthy and well and running well. It's a year that I don't want to see finish but it's great to have had a good year. Hopefully a few of the jumpers can take over now and win a few more for us.

Leopardstown Sun, 20th Oct, 2024  Pimstrel She's in great form. That's her last run of the year, she loves the heavy ground and is not for the all-weather.

Bellewstown Wed, 2nd Oct, 2024  Pimstrel She has form here before with the Faheys and she has a couple of great runs for Laura Hourigan. She was in season, that was my worry but she was in good old form this morning. I was hopeful without being confident. She had the ability to do it - it is just once everything was right. She got a good ride and the 7lb claim, so we got the pot and we are delighted. Rory is a great chap - I remember him pony racing and he was always very good. I know his dad for years. Since he has gone to Johnny Murtagh, he is tidying up and getting stronger. He judged that perfectly. I'm delighted to see him doing well. I had no hesitation in putting him up, he's a top one. She won't go to the all-weather, she might go again at the weekend on soft ground. Laura Hourigan offered me this horse and she offered me her again, and she promised me she would definitely do me a turn, so I have to say I owe Laura Hourigan a turn. She was dead on, she knows her job.
