Denham pockets Wexford opener
she was getting the allowances today but it won't be easy to place her to win another one. She has got there today anyway and that's the main thing though. She is leery and hopefully we will get a little mares race for her during the summer - we won't be aiming to high with her anyway.

Wexford-worker enjoying summer Season
we have a plant hire business and did all the work on the track, including the track extension. I've been trying to win races here for years and I've got two now so I'm happy with that!. he got boxed in the last day and we felt we were a little bit unlucky, but the winner did win well in fairness to him. We only got raised two pounds for that and we thought we weren't going too bad with that. We were just a bit worried about the ground because he real likes good ground and it was soft enough for him. We knew he'd stay the two and half miles, he is a good horse and is well-bred and very consistent. Hopefully he’ll stay sound and we'll keep him on the go. If there is another race here for him we’ll be back but I wouldn't be afraid to go anywhere with him.

Festival regular Bentelimar is Galway-bound
he had a break after Leopardstown (in January); he was running a lovely race there until he fell at the last. Earlier on last season he was coming up against all those good novices so we gave him a break and he likes being fresh. Hopefully he can go forward from here now.

Well backed Suncroft lands Wexford's last
Steven did very well to win on him because he had his whip knocked out of his hand in the straight - I was wondering why the horse didn't go on and win a couple of lengths!. he (Suncroft) had to do it the hard way as they went no gallop and then they really slowed it down. It was great and he is going out to the field at the end of the week. He'll get a bit of time and come back then in the autumn - he has enough done for now. I'd say Barry (Connell) will send him hurdling after that.
