Debut win for Roserie
she was very green and hasn't been away anywhere and should improve a lot from the run. Her half-sister Rose Bonheur was quite good and Roseraie is in the Phoenix Stakes and the Moyglare Stakes . I'm not saying she's up to that but she's entered. I have 20 horses in training for Lady O'Reilly who is a staunch supporter.
Hayes Stars with Fairyhouse double
the last few times we've been riding her for too much speed and the extra furlong helped her - that win will give her a nice bit of confidence, as she hasn't won since she was a two year old.
Emperor provides Hennessy with first winner
I worked with trainer Tommy Stack for 13 years and have my restricted trainers' license for the past three years. I've had a point to point winner before but this is my first on the racecourse. I break young horses and my operation is a real family one - my brother and father are involved and my wife Geraldine owns Hi Emperor. Hi Emperor is a big backward horse and hopefully will improve again from that. He's still a big baby and is very green. His run before this suggested he was entitled to win as the form has worked out very well. Seven furlongs is probably his trip but he has plenty of boot and we'll not be afraid to drop him back. I was hoping the ground would not be too firm and the rain came at the right time.
Erin follows up Naas gamble with another win
we'll see what the handicapper does to Man Of Erin now. He didn't learn much the last day and ran away but he settled in much better today. He is potentially a nice horse and we'll put him in a 0-80 handicap next.
Easy win for Dane Street
Dane Street is a very big filly and we need to be careful where she goes as she needs a good galloping track. She'll step up in class now.
Connections begin dreaming with Morethanafeeling
she is an improving filly and has won two of her last three starts. She was covered two weeks ago by Kodiac but we're not sure if she's in foal yet.
Xsquared records win number one
the run over hurdles (seventh at Punchestown recently) did a good job on him and helped to sweeten him up.
Scots Gaelic wins Fairyhouse finale
Scots Gaelic was probably a bit unlucky the last day as he went on a bit too soon. Before, he used to be lazy but he travels well now and I think he could win again.
