Hotazhell justifies favouritism in Curragh opener
He's a lovely horse. He's probably growing a bit at the moment and he's not going to Ascot,. We'll take our time with him, he's in the Railway Stakes but that's only six furlongs. He's won over seven and if we are doing anything we'd go up. I know he's a Too Darn Hot but he finished off very strong. He's a really nice horse. He got away with that ground but probably wants it a little easier. Unless we went somewhere in France I'd almost sit and wait with him for the National Stakes, or something like that. He's a smashing horse. He's carrying the Pathfork colours, who was my first Group 1 winner.
No problems for odds-on Wells
We're delighted with him, he's a baby still. He'll go into the Ascot picture and if he doesn't go there he'll come back here for the Railway,. He'll have no problem staying further in time but he's green and babyish still.
O'Brien doubles-up as Grateful upsets odds-on stablemate
She's by Galileo and she has an unbelievable pedigree,. She got a little setback last year and we didn't get to run her. She just took a bit of time to come and Wayne said there is a lot to come from her. We'll let her step up and progress away and he said she'd be very happy to step back in trip. It's all positive.
Progressive Kendall Roy strikes again
They went some clip. He has loads of pace and when I saw Chris asking him to lie up I knew they were possibly going too fast,. It suited him as he wants a stiff five and to stay on, it worked out really well. It didn't in Cork as they went no gallop and it was a sprint home, they kind of left him for toe. I'm delighted because I thought he might win in Cork but it didn't play out. He did it again today. We want to go to Ascot in two weeks but he has to go up between 5 and 7lb to get in. If not we've plenty of other options. I have a couple of owners that want to go and he has the mentality to handle Ascot, the track suits and everything would be ideal for him but it depends on what the handicapper does now.
Ebor now firmly on the agenda for 'tough horse' Saturn
Ojw Legacy gets deserved win to her name
Zaragoza comes good on handicap debut
He got a very good ride from Chris Hayes and the horse battled well,. He got gelded in the spring and it put manners on him. It was an excellently timed ride by Chris and he just got home. I think that's his right trip, and on a level track. We'll see if we can win another one with him.
Salah on target in Curragh finale
She was just very gassy the last day over seven,. I'm delighted, she did that very nicely. She's a very straightforward filly but she just has no patience for hanging around here (in the winners enclosure). There is a race for her in Fairyhouse but I'll have to see what the handicapper does. The guys thought she'd get seven last time and that's why I ran her and maybe if she settled she would, but I think it's just easier to keep her at six at the moment. I'm thrilled for her and thrilled for Claire.
