Going - Soft in places. Overcast
Carrolls good run continues
The better ground really helped him today and he had some nice form to win. It was great for young Tim [Carroll], he seems to be getting it together and I really think he's going places. We've always thought a lot of him and hopefully he keeps going forward. We'll go for a handicap next and the long term plan would be to go over fences. He doesn't like the soft ground at all.
Rossdara scores for Cooper
She did it well, the most obvious option would be to go for the mares novice hurdle at Fairyhouse over the Easter. She has some very good form and she probably wasn't a 100% when she ran at Christmas. She came up against a very good horse in For Bill the last day at Clonmel, the groud was probably a shade too heavy for her that day.
McNiff brothers strike at Downpatrick
That was my first winner around here. We hope to come back here in three weeks time for something similiar. I got this filly last Summer from MIchael McElhone after he gave up training. We hope to keep her on the go over the Summer.
Tragic ending to the Ulster Grand National
Massini Mighty at Downpatrick
Paddy was delighted with him today, he probably appreciated the better ground. He idled a little in front today. We've nothing planned yet. We'll probably go handicapping with him, I think there's a big handicap in him.
Nedzer returns to the winners enclosure
Carberry makes it a winning return
He's more of a jumper than a bumper horse. NIna said he was caught for a bit of toe at the top of the hill. He needs two and half miles but he's a grand horse and he'll go jumping soon i'd say we'll just have to talk to the owners.
