Shrapnel enjoys Downpatrick assignment
He's better on better ground. We might win a couple of similar conditions races with him. It might not have been the strongest race but he'll keep going now and probably jump a fence. We've had a great week and a great season. That's our 50th winner in Ireland and it'd be 51 if Bondage hadn't lost a race in Sligo. We've also had 17 cross-channel.
Paddy enjoys himself at Downpatrick again
The little bit of good ground helped and he loves it here. Apart from the last day (course and distance success four weeks ago) he also won a chase here and it was a good display of jumping. It was probably an ordinary enough race and he got his own way.

They went no gallop and she met lots of trouble but she's improving and she's a good string to have in my bow. It's onwards and upwards with her. We might go to Ayr for a mares hurdle on Scottish National Day. Patrick McCann from Loughgall, County Armagh is the main man in the partnership. He's my principal backer as he's invested heavily in the yard.
