Wishmoor top of the veterans
I thoroughly enjoy training this fellow; Gaelic Bloodstock bought him for a couple of their friends and we bought two horses to go jumping,. I was keen to get a few jumpers and the plan is to get a few more so we can be busy during the winter as well. I have jumping roots and we have a couple more jumpers in the yard at the moment. To be honest I didn't watch one jump, I was looking at the ground - I get very nervous with the flat never mind the jumps! The ground is very soft and he is old and clever, he only does the bare minimum over the jumps and doesn't tire himself out. I'm delighted.

Limerick double for de Bromhead and Blackmore
McCarthy and Brouder keep excellent Limerick run going
She won here over course and distance and the plan was to come back here six weeks afterwards. She was straightforward and is well bred, is out of a good mare and by the right sire (Fame And Glory) and today was the plan,. We had a super Christmas - we had two winners from five runners and got the tactics wrong on another which finished second.
Byrnes Limerick Christmas festival winner arrives in final race
It was a good race and he had the experience and it was a big help,. We'll probably look for a winners' bumper next as there isn't much point in going jumping at this stage of the season. That was my first winner this week - the horses weren't over-exciting and I was stunned the fellow yesterday (Pairc Na Ngael) got beaten. We got the win here anyway which was the main thing.
