Double carpet treat for Sheridan followers as Vocation pops up
She got badly hampered the last day, turning in, when we thought she had a chance,. We had to freshen her up and change things around. She's probably back down to a nice winning mark too. Joey gave her a fine ride and a lot of the credit has to go to my girlfriend Sarah (Dixon) as she does a lot of work helping me with the horses, there is just the two of us. She is her pride and joy and she rides her every day. Going to the beach has freshened her up as well, it's something different. She's as fit as a flee. We're looking forward to what happens next now. We'll have to see what the handicapper gives her but we got the win out of her now anyway and that's all that matters.

My son Paul does most of the work with this horse so deserves a lot of the credit,. We're absolutely thrilled. He has been improving and improving and we thought he was going to win. He had a very big run here last time but he just hung a bit right so we put a pricker on him. He did everything right today, broke lovely and popped out there. Wayne gave him a super ride. We couldn't be any happier, he won very well. I'd say we could even drop him back to five. We had him trained for the breeze-ups and he was kinda off his head a bit and we have to take him down to the start early. He's settling now though and doing everything right for us at home. He's Paul's horse really. He does the feeding, the mucking out, the brushing, everything with him. I also have to thank my father Donal who is a big help.

46/1 Dundalk double for Orr
He was super and I think he might have gotten a bit of confidence from the last day,. I know they really fancied the other horse (runner-up) but he was in great form at home. I was actually quite nervous today but he won well and seemed to enjoy it. He tried hard to the line. Oisin dropped a rein and gave me a heart attack but it was all okay in the end. He got a massive hike for the last day and hopefully he's not as mean to me this time. He likes Dundalk, I haven't had a chance to have a real good look at the new program book but I did see a couple of races for him.
