Newcomer Sacred Bridge wins Naas' opener
it was a lovely performance and Colin was very kind on her. She was entitled to be green, which she was when she hit the front and she just got a little bit tired. It was a typical first run from one of ours. She will improve and Colin said she'll get faster. She'll come on a ton for it and we're very happy to take baby steps.
Wood Ranger gains second course win
it's the first time Noelle and Jim (Walsh, owners) have seen him run - they bred him as well and I'm delighted for them. We thought he was a bit lazy the last two times so we put the visor on him today and he loves this place. Every time he runs here he really tries and I'd say six-and-a-half would be ideal for him. He's a good honest galloper and he tries very hard and the shower of rain didn't do him any harm. Billy gave him a lovely ride in front and they left him alone to be able to set the fractions and do exactly what he wanted. He'd be a lovely horse for handicaps in England.

Naas doubles for McCreery & Lee
I'm delighted with that and to get a winner for Godolphin is great and she's one of their homebred fillies. She's a grand big filly, she's only coming to herself and in fairness they've been very patient with me. I thought she ran a lovely race in Navan the last day when she probably didn't get home. Myself and Billy had a chat and we said we'd bring her back to the mile here and that suited. We'll take our time with her and she wouldn't mind an ease in the ground either. I wouldn't mind bringing her back to seven as she travelled very well there and I thought she idled in front.
Apprentices provide trainer Murtagh with double
it's incredible to ride another winner for Johnny and he travelled so well for me. I was delighted, and I trusted the horse that he was going to get home for me. I just believed that he could do it. He had loads of ability, he just needs to enjoy himself out there and he really did today. It worked out perfectly.
Harrington & Foley win Naas finale
she was due that, she had a nice run in Listowel and probably just needed it as she hadn't run in a while. She was taking on the boys today but we were keen to come back to seven rather than stick with the fillies over a mile and it's worked out. I had the draw, and the fancied ones were wide, so I went forward. If something wanted to go on I was going to let them. I was a passenger on her early as she was well lit up after giving her the kick but she stayed going well.
