He was very good to jump and he did it the hard way, I suppose. He's a nice novice to look forward to for Dai Walters. Tipperary might come too soon and we'll find somewhere after that in about a month's time. If he keeps progressing he could be a Royal Bond horse. That would be the plan at the moment, if he keeps progressing, to go that direction. Paul wasn't going to hang around on him and he kept galloping the whole way to the line. I was wondering going to the second last if he was getting tired because I thought Paul was pushing him but then he seemed to open up then when he got into the straight. He appeared to have plenty in the tank and he's a nice horse to look forward to.
Amir Kabir gains revenge
We fancied him as I thought he would have won in Galway if he had jumped. We've done a good bit of work with him since Galway on his jumping and if he'd jumped the second last I'd say he wouldn't have come off the bridle. It was a nice performance, he's a horse that could mix it on the Flat as well. Maybe not this year but next year. He's a nice big horse. We'll keep him going, I'd say he'll go with a bit of ease in the ground as well. I was actually worried about the ground here as he ran on quick ground in Leopardstown and didn't let himself down.
Tenth win for Macgiloney
Motown Maggie in the groove over fences
She jumped great. We were thinking about going to Roscommon on Monday but the owners wanted to have a runner in Listowel and they'll enjoy that. We could maybe look at the Cheltenham meeting in November for her. I'd say she could step up in trip as well. She probably wouldn't want real winter ground but other than that she'd be okay.

Mullins doubles up in the bumper
It was a great performance from where he was. He was very green early on. He got crossed at the start and then was always in little pockets and he didn't know how to race. Then when he got out wide, into clear air, he just picked up and showed the bit of ability that he has. I don't know whether I'll continue on with him, he was very straight looking today and he might benefit from a break. We know he's not too bad now so we might bring him home and let him strengthen up. He was very fit looking there and I'd like to see him getting stronger.
